I was initially, a little scared that I would make the impression incorrectly but it was so easy. Included in the kit is detailed, step-by-step instructions so it is hard to stray too far wrong. There is also a sheet showing the most common mistakes noticed by Smile Brilliant and how to avoid these when making your customized Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening Kit. Smile Brilliant also include spare putty to make additional impressions in case you make a mistake. It took less than ten minutes to make my Smile Brilliant customizable teeth whitening impressions. I then sent the impressions back (in the pre-paid envelope included). My Smile Brilliant customized whitening trays came in just over a week which was impressive!
The Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening Process
The Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening kit comes with multiple syringes of Smile Brilliant teeth whitening gel. I also ordered some Smile Brilliant desensitizing gel as my teeth can sometimes be a little sensitive. I used Smile Brilliant teeth whitening twice a week for 45 mins-1 hour before I went to bed. You can use the whitening more frequently also. I used the Smile Brilliant desensitizing gel for 15 minutes after each session. I experienced sensitivity the first time I used the Smile Brilliant treatment but after this first time, I had little to no sensitivity. The Smile Brilliant trays are not uncomfortable to wear for an hour as they fit your teeth perfectly so it is similar to wearing a retainer. Each Smile Brilliant teeth whitening syringe can be used to whiten your teeth for 3-4 sessions. I would recommend adding the Smile Brilliant de-sensitizer to your kit just in case you experience tooth sensitivity.
