Sephoria was a beauty lover’s dream come true, a Disneyland for makeup lovers and the most instagrammable show case of the best skincare, fragrance and makeup. Spread over three floors, Sephoria, an unforgettable event took place last weekend over 2 days in Downtown LA. Sephoria was a ticket only event for which beauty lovers could purchase one of four sessions over the weekend. I attended the first Sephoria event on Saturday from 10am-4pm and loved every moment in the whimsical wonderland.

My journey at Sephoria started off in the garden where there was a GIANT La Mer capsule alongside booths from 4 other brands. Gucci had the most adorable tea room promoting the new Gucci Bloom fragrance while Glam Glow had a giant applicator as a prop with the most instagrammable backdrop and life-size jar of Glam Glow. The brands at Sephoria were unbelievable! Viktor & Rolf also impressed at Sephoria and had a dapper magician on hand. The garden at Sephoria delighted further with IT cosmetics also featured along with lots of props and samples to play with. All brands at Sephoria treated us to samples of their products to try which made me squeal inside. One can never have enough samples!

We exited the Sephoria garden and made our way to the main event and MY was Sephoria a treat. The Sephoria venue was divided into sections as it was a “House of Beauty”. There was a glamorous Sephoria kitchen which housed products inspired by kitchen ingredients by brands such as Huda Beauty, Youth to the People and Glow Recipe. We had just arrived in the kitchen when there was a flurry of excitement - Chrissy Teigen strutted out in the most sparkly gold fabulous suit dress. As beautiful inside and out as I imagined. Within minutes, Sephoria was living far beyond any expectations.

Charlotte Tilbury floated by at one point moments later, and I was lucky enough to meet the beautiful makeup master which again made Sephoria such an incredible event. When do you get to meet Charlotte Tilbury & Chrissy within minutes of each other along with sampling new beauty products? We eased our way through the ground floor of Sephoria taking in the floral enchanted booth by Tarte, Urban Decay’s cherry themed slot machines and the Sephoria living room which was a relaxation spot for beauty lovers to take in the majestic surroundings. The ground floor also housed the Masterclass Theater where masterclasses by top makeup artists & hair gurus were held including Charlotte Tilbury, Angel Marino, Jen Atkin of Ouai, Mario Dedivanovic, Priscilla Ono and many many more! My favorite room at Sephoria was the Tatcha room, the photo itself explains why. Floral heaven at Sephoria!

After a whirl wind on the main floor at the Sephoria event, we ventured downstairs where fancy drinks were being served alongside more instagrammable booths from top brands such as Laura Mercier, Pat McGrath, YSL, Stila, Sephora Collection and FENTY! The Sephoria house of beauty theme continued with a beauty closet, a lip lounge, green room and a fragrance bar. Again brands showered us with mini products, pampering & photo ops as we made our way through the Sephoria event. Fenty was my favorite here where they had a giant highlighter clam filled with gold confetti which you could climb into and throw gold confetti in the air. The perfect Saturday afternoon activity at Sephoria.

Finally, we ventured upstairs at Sephoria and again we were treated to the most spectacular brand booths. Favorites were Jo Malone which had the freshest of flowers sprayed all over the booth. Dior Backstage had touch ups and a professional photographer on hand. Dior is one of my favorite brands so I got incredibly excited at this booth at Sephoria! Upstairs also held Drybar and rows of Sephora make over stations where pros were on hand to transform! The foundation closet offered more foundation than I imagined possible. Our day at Sephoria finished up with a trip to the Drunk Elephant booth and Fresh (both amazing skincare brands!)

At Sephoria, there were so many customizable products on offer. Some of my favorite options were the customizable palette room where you could mix and match Sephora Collection, Urban Decay, Make Up Forever & Nars, the customizable Sephora Collection lip stories where I added a photo of my sisters and I to a lipstick (surprise Leeanne if you are reading this!) and customizable makeup bags.

We strolled out of Sephoria 6 hours later with smiles on our faces, 500+ photos, samples for days and also picked up a bag of full sized products to bring home upon exiting. An incredible event which made me so happy to work for such an amazing company!! I highly recommend Sephoria House of Beauty!
