I absolutely love buying a new fancy dress, getting all dressed up and going to a fancy event. There is something about a new dress, heels & a glammed up day or evening to make me feel good. I always have a few new party dresses at the ready because you never know what exciting invite is around the corner.
With the summer months upon us, invites for weddings, summer parties, girl’s trips away, romantic date nights & unexpected invites pop our way. There is no need to leave shopping for a perfect RSVP dress for when you get the invitation. Dress shopping is fun but not when you are under pressure and MUST find something ASAP. It’s always when you want something in particular that you can never find it. I highly recommend looking now and having a dress or two picked out so there is no panic in the lead up to an event this summer.

When I was picking some to model from the collection, it was a tough decision. All the dresses below are unique and very different. The Nude Ruffle Detail Skater Dress is one of my favorites. I felt like a doll wearing this dress and loved the length and the glitzy bag I added to give an extra sparkle to the look. The ruffle detail at the front makes this dress and adds glamor. The red lace frill dress is a classic and will definitely be one I wear to a couple of events. Finally, the Emerald Green Lace Panel Tiered Bodycon Dress is an evening dress as it is a little shorter. I would wear this to a launch party or a girls night out and this one can easily be worn with cute sandals on a hot summer’s night.
Top tips for choosing RSVP dresses:
Be open to different colors & styles – you don’t know what may work if you don’t try
Pick something that isn’t incredibly tight to begin with. There is nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable after a dinner. Fashionable doesn’t need to uncomfortable and you will enjoy yourself so much more if you can move in your dress (always a plus lol)
Think of shoes & purses/bags that you have already and what could work accessories wise within your existing wardrobe
Choose a dress that you can see yourself wearing multiple times and to a couple of events
Know the length that is acceptable for the event. Some events require dresses below the knee
Shop in advance before summer events to save stress & ensure you enjoy the shopping process
