The past two months, I have been busy trying out lots of new beauty products and having mini pampering sessions at home. The following products are some new favorites.
Sevillana Lash Amplifying Lacquer by Christian Louboutin
I let out a little squeal when I opened this package – it is definitely the prettiest mascara I have ever owned. The mascara comes in a beautiful box and the mascara tube is gold with a studded black wand. The product is as good as the packaging! The mascara enhances definition, lengthens and lifts lashes. The mascara lasts all day and adds an intense black color. I loved the wand as it was small enough to lift and define smaller lashes at the corners. This mascara is more expensive than any other mascara I have used so it is more of a treat- yourself-product but worth it or a perfect gift for a beauty lover.
Loubitag Nail Collection by Christian Louboutin
Louboutin sent me some of their new colorful nail collection which they launched a few weeks ago. Again, the packaging is just the prettiest. There are three limited edition duo sets. I used the Barney purple and coral colors and so happy that the summer colors are back. The colors are long lasting and were chip free for days. I added a coat of clear over the polish to give an extra shine and make my nails last an extra couple of days.
SOS Masks by Clarins
Three new SOS masks have been launched by Clarins; SOS Hydra, SOS Pure and SOS Comfort. I tried out the SOS comfort and loved it. The balm is a nourishing mask with mango butter and smells amazing. I used it twice a week and left it on overnight to really reap the benefits. The instructions advise to leave the mask on for 10 minutes and rinse off but I used as an overnight mask. My hands were also having a need for some SOS treatment after a trip to Toronto so I used a pea sized amount on my hands overnight too which worked a treat.
Pure Color Envy Hi-Lustre Lipstick by Estee Lauder
I had never tried Estee Lauder’s lipstick range before so was pleasantly surprised at this lipstick. The color is perfect for Spring and for adding some color. The color is long lasting and hydrating and needs minimum touch ups. This lipstick also won an Allure Best of Beauty Award recently. I have been wearing the lipstick during the day but keeping the rest of my makeup minimal. It is also perfect for a night out for a more dramatic bolder lip.
Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate by Estee Lauder
A bottle of magic, this little wonder works to banish dullness and deliver rehydration to eyes. The product works to give eyes a more awake look by plumping the eye area. Lines, wrinkles and dark circles are all reduced also by using this concentrate. Quite the potion! The product is suitable for all skin types and has an easy applicator. The concentrate should be used in the morning and at night for best results.
All products were sent to me complementary from the brands above but I have only featured products that I loved and would buy again myself. All reviews are honest and my own.
