I am excited to bring you my monthly round up of new beauty products that I have been trying out. When I travel I bring lots of new beauty products with me to try out. If you have been following along on Instagram, in the past 2 weeks, I travelled lots between Dallas, San Antonio, Toronto & NYC. I’ve been sampling some new products and excited to share the products that I loved.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Primer
As a fan of YSL Touche Eclat for some time, I was so delighted when this product arrived. This is a primer that blurs imperfections while illuminating to give a radiant look. Apply before your foundation to have illuminous glowing skin. The primer is infused with four oils which nourish but don’t leave the skin oily – corn oil, apricot kernel oil, passiflora oil & rice bran oil. I apply just one pump which is plenty and sweep from the center of my face outwards. Leave for 10 seconds before applying your foundation. If you want a day without foundation, you can also use the primer after your moisturizer as a final step to give you a glow. Perfect for the upcoming dewy beach looks!
Givency Beauty Noir Interdit Mascara
This mascara is a deep black mascara which gives buildable volume. What I love about this mascara is the bendable wand which is bendable to 90 degrees. Bend the wand to 90 degrees by pressing the wand against the top of the mascara. Brush your lashes from the bottom up by zig zagging. Once you’ve got the length & definition, unbend the brush to achieve lots of volume!
Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Night Cream
Caudalie’s new brightening night cream helps with brightening and diminishing any dark spots. The beauty is free from lots of the nasties including sulfates, parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate and coal tar. The product’s key ingredients are viniferine, hyaluronic acid and vegetal butylene glycol. The glycolic acid is released over 8 hours which means this product works throughout the night. This cream is quite thick in consistency so a little goes a long way.
Caudalie Vinoperfect Glycolic Brightening Essence
This product is from the same family as the night cream above. I have been using brightening products for my skin as with lots of travel and plane time, it is easy for skin to get dehydrated and appear dull. The essence contains glycolic acid which removes dead skin cells. It also contains grape water to hydrate and soothe. Apply the product with a cotton wool pad morning & evening on cleansed skin and before serum. Apply to your face and neck. It’s important to note that this product contains AHA which increases our skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Make sure you use SPF when using this product and for a week afterwards.
Caudalie Premier Cru Serum
I was on a roll this month trying out lots of new Caudalie products and added this serum to my routine as just finished my Ri na Mara serum that I have been using since December. This product works well with the two Caudalie products reviewed above and provides lots of great benefits. The serum works on fine lines & wrinkles, loss of firmness & elasticity, dullness & uneven texture. In short, a glorious time machine! Caudalie have patents on three precious ingredients which are included in this product. Resveratrol to visibly lift and firm, Viniferine® to brighten, and grape seed polyphenols to protect against environmental aggressors. This serum is on the more expensive side but I definitely recommend investing in good skincare as it will serve you well.
These were my favorite finds for March, hope you enjoyed reading about these new finds.
Thank you to the brands for gifting me these products to try out. Although I was gifted products and work at the Sephora HQ in San Francisco, all opinions are my own.
