Lancôme recently gifted me a box of their classics and also their latest and greatest products. I had a couple of favorites which I have reviewed below.
Skin Feels Good Hydrating Skin Tint
I always look for a lighter foundation for the summer days so trialed out this new hydrating, oil-free foundation. It has SPF and gives a no-makeup makeup look which is what I love for summer. The foundation is also packed with antioxidants to protect against free radicals and pollution. The light weight foundation also provides all the hydration you need with hyaluronic acid to lock-in moisture for all-day hydration. The foundation also gives a glow without clogging pores and feels very light on. 11 shades are available with me naturally needing the lightest shade – cool porcelain!
Prismatic Plump
I used Bare Glow in this prismatic gloss and it gave such a nice finish over my darker lipsticks on nights out. I also used the gloss on its own for a day look with lighter makeup. The gloss is non-sticky and lasts for hours. The glosses contain micronized holographic pearls that reflect light for a multidimensional effect = plump lips! 8 shades are available, four holographic shades and four nudes. I only tried the holographic which I loved!
Renergie Lift Multi-action Ultra
This little gem works to moisturize, minimize lines wrinkles, dark spots and also has SPF. It is good for all skin types so whether you have oily, combination, dry or sensitive skin, the product will work for your skin. The moisturizer is oil free and contains SPF 30. I always mention in my reviews whether or not each product has SPF as it is so important to wear SPF every day. Your 70 year old self will thank you! The bottle is pretty big at 50ml / 1.7 oz and I have not made a huge dent after a few weeks of use. This is part of a line of Lancôme products including cleanser, serum and eye cream.
Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Serum
Although I received this from Lancôme just recently, I have been using this product over the years as my serum. I always buy the smaller bottles so I can take with me traveling. This serum definitely is a winner for me and I always notice a difference within 7 days when I start using the product again. The serum works to hydrate and smooth skin in 7 days. It is a patented formula with a dropper which makes application easy every day.
Hypnose Drama – Waterproof
On Tuesday, I am about to take off traveling for 5 weeks with lots of pool time so I am excited to have Hypnose Drama Waterproof with me. The mascara is a volumizing mascara with a 24 hour hold. The brush is S shaped which allows for easy application especially in the corners. There is no clumping with this mascara and does what is says on the tin – so no mascara streaming in the pool! Let pool days commence!
