Hydration Station

Lorna Ryan Blog

The cold weather seems to be lingering a little too long. As well as many liters of water a day, I have been increasing hydrating products in my beauty bag. Some are all time favorites and some are new finds.

Erborian Bamboo Waterlock Mask

I have been using this product for a number of years. It is so helpful as a quick 10 minute mask or a more effective overnight mask when you apply a thin layer and leave on as you rest. The next day, I instantly notice a difference in my skin. The texture is a light gel with a faint refreshing scent. Korean beauty is here to stay with these overnight results. The waterlock mask is from a range of products including bamboo micellar water, moisturizer and cleanser.

PCA travel hydration set

PCA skincare is a new brand that I learnt about quite recently. PCA sent me lots of hydrating products to try out and after trying the range including the facial wash, hydrating serum, hydrator, rebalance and collagen hydrator, I noticed a difference within a couple of days. My skin felt smooth and refreshed. PCA have also given me three travel size hydrator kits to giveaway to those in need of hydration. See my hydration post on Instagram to win.

Sephora Hair Masks

These hair masks are life savers. I use them once a week as an overnight mask to give my hair lots of hydration and TLC. My hair is put through quite a bit from cycling to workouts to lots of products so a mask is needed often. For best results, use the handy cotton cap to keep your hair intact and the mask working well overnight. There are 4 overnight masks within the range; smoothing & anti-frizz, invigorating & anti-breakage, nourishing & repairing and brightening & color protecting. I have used all but the latter (as I don’t color my hair) and all are excellent. At $5, they are a steal for the results!

NUXE Baume Levres Reve De Miel - Honey Lip Balm

I always use this product when the cold weather sets in. After a few uses, any signs of chapped lips are healed. The little pot lasts a long time and only a small amount is needed for each application. I use under lipstick also during the day to ensure my lips stay hydrated. The honey scent is mild and the balm is color free. The balm can be used overnight as a mask as well as throughout the day.

Sanctuary Body Soufflé

Heaven in a tub! Sanctuary has been my go to moisturizer brand since I discovered it in my teens. The smell of Sanctuary products is amazing and reminds me of a luxurious trip to the spa at very affordable prices. The Soufflé has mixes of mango, jojoba, red seaweed and vitamin E. The texture is light, airy, luxurious and is the perfect hydrator and moisturizer for a pamper night in. Try the shower soufflé also which is equally as amazing for hydrating and pampering.

Hope you feel hydrated after using all of the above!

PCA Skincare and Erborian sent me products to try out. All of the opinions above are my own.
